For next year, easyJet will open two new bases in Italy and expand its operations in the United Kingdom with new routes and the addition of aircraft to its bases.

New bases in Italy

After obtaining ITA Airways slots as part of the European Commission’s proposal to be acquired by the Lufthansa Group, the low-cost airline will launch new routes at Milan-Linate and Rome-Fiumicino by the end of March next year.

  • New routes from Milan-Linate: Barcelona, Birmingham, Brussels, Copenhagen, Edinburgh, Figari, Frankfurt, Ibiza, Lisbon, Luxembourg, Manchester, Oslo, Palma de Mallorca, Split, Tenerife-South, and Vienna.
  • New routes from Rome-Fiumicino: Brussels, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich, and Zurich.

Growth in the United Kingdom

The company is launching six new routes in the United Kingdom for 2025, including services from Manchester and Edinburgh to Milan-Linate, from Birmingham to Gibraltar and Bordeaux, and from Bristol to Palermo and Almería. Promotional fares start at 23.99 euros, and vacation packages through easyJet holidays start at 230 euros per person.

The low-cost carrier has also confirmed that a 19th Airbus A320 will be added to the Bristol base, complementing the additional units already added in Manchester, Edinburgh, and Birmingham. Moreover, three aircraft will join easyJet’s new base at London Southend, which opens at the end of March 2025.

Our investment in two new bases in Italy will also benefit our customers in the United Kingdom, offering them excellent value for money and convenient connectivity to major European cities, whether traveling for leisure or business. We look forward to welcoming them on board. Travelers seeking inspiration can use easyJet’s Low Fare Finder on easyJet.com to find the lowest fares across the entire easyJet network, all in one place, allowing them to plan their next vacation at an affordable price,” said Ali Gayward, Country Manager for easyJet in the United Kingdom.
