LATAM has resumed its flights between Santiago (SCL) and Punta del Este (PDP) in Uruguay, which will operate during the summer season until March 16, 2025, with three weekly flights on Airbus A320 aircraft, with a capacity of 174 seats. The airline will offer a total of 15,660 seats during the three months of operations.
LATAM operated in Punta del Este until February 2022, connecting twice weekly with Santiago and São Paulo/Guarulhos (GRU), Brazil.

LATAM is the leading airline operating in Uruguay in terms of seat capacity and frequencies, covering 21% and 22% of the market share, according to the Cirium platform. Currently, it flies from Montevideo to Lima (7 weekly flights), Santiago (14 weekly flights), and São Paulo (21 weekly flights), totaling 42 flights per week.
Punta del Este, meanwhile, reconnects with Chile. Currently, its international flights are operated by Aerolíneas Argentinas to Buenos Aires/Aeroparque and Azul to São Paulo/Guarulhos. During the summer season, it is joined by Paranair, with flights to Asunción, Paraguay, and to Campinas/Viracopos with Azul.
