How to access LATAM’s in-flight internet service?
The new service offers free access to online messaging apps like WhatsApp and Telegram for all passengers with a LATAM Pass account.
To access messaging or connectivity services with a speed of 1-3mbps, passengers only need to activate Airplane Mode on their mobile devices, connect to the “LATAM Play” Wi-Fi network, and scan the QR code located in front of their seat, or visit play.latam.com.
Once connected, passengers can log in with their LATAM Pass account or register if they are not yet members, and choose between messaging or browsing options. Passengers who are not part of the program can register onboard or purchase a browsing package starting at USD 5.
