As part of its commercial and operational strategy, Aeromexico has announced that it will begin operating from Terminal 1 of the Mexico City-Benito Juarez International Airport in December.

As of December 11, the airline will operate initially and may expand in the future, an average of 20 daily departures from Terminal 1 of the AICM. The operation from Terminal 2, meanwhile, will continue without changes. The airline informed in a press release that, if there are any modifications to flights, it will inform its passengers through its official channels.

Aaron Murray, Aeromexico’s Chief Commercial Officer, stated that «having operations in both terminals of Mexico City International Airport allows us to offer our customers more flight options». Regarding the future of the offering from this terminal, he added that «this announcement is just the beginning. We want to boost our leadership position in Mexico City, so we will expand our operations in the future».
