Flyr announced recently it is adding three cities to its network: Barcelona, Berlin and Brussels. These cities are among the favorite destinations for Scandinavians during the northern winter season. In addition, it will fly to Gran Canaria in December.
The company, recently created by former Norwegian executives, will offer from December 14 a connection between Oslo (Norway) and the island of Gran Canaria. According to the Tourisnews, website, the route will start with two weekly flights and will increase to three between January and March.
Tourism Councilor of Gran Canaria, Carlos Álamo, welcomed the «positive news» and highlighted the steps towards the recovery of the sector». Gradually certain normality is being recovered and it is to be appreciated that companies such as Flyr are betting on Gran Canaria», he pointed out.
On the other hand, Flyr announced in a press release that it will start flying to Barcelona, Berlin, and Brussels from next year. Barcelona and Berlin will start operations on March 27th, while Brussels will do the same on May 6th. Tickets, available through the airline’s website and mobile app, are already on sale.
Thus, Flyr’s international offer is as follows:
- in France, Nice, Paris and Grenoble.
- In Spain, Alicante, Malaga, Barcelona and Gran Canaria.
- in Italy, the destinations are Milan and Rome.
- in Switzerland, it flies to Geneva.
- in Germany, to Berlin and Salzburg.
- From Denmark, Copenhagen.
- Finally, from Belgium, it flies to Brussels.
