On December 9, the Brazilian airline announced that now not only people will be able to enjoy a place of relaxation and comfort in its services at airports, such as VIP lounges, for example.
According to what was reported by the company and according to our Brazilian partner Aeroin, GOL considered the comfort of its customers’ furry friends, so GOLLOG, the airline’s logistics solutions unit, prepared a Pet Area at Congonhas Airport (CGH), a domestic terminal located in the city of São Paulo, where animals can rest during pre-boarding and after landing.
Besides being provided with food and water, the animals will be able to take a nap and rest in a well-ventilated environment while waiting for their flight. On their return, at the same airport, they will have the chance to stop again to take a break from the trip, drink water, eat food and make new friends.
Although the initiative was only carried out at São Paulo’s central airport, GOL says it intends to expand the Pet Spaces project. In a short time, the company will launch another resting area for pets at Guarulhos International Airport (GRU).
