Spain – Venezuela Flight Guide: Iberia schedule to Venezuela

Recently the Venezuelan National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC), gave authorization to regular commercial passenger flights to Spain, the most important long distance market of the South American nation, this will benefit many passengers to have another destination to connect to Europe, other than Istanbul (IST).

Currently Air Europa, Iberia, and Plus Ultra have announced their operation schedules for Venezuela, all airlines will offer flights between Madrid (MAD) and Caracas (CCS), while Conviasa has not yet made any announcement to operate to the Spanish capital.

Iberia

The airline will reinstate its operations to Venezuela for the month of March, initially with a weekly flight, the schedule is as follows:

Madrid (MAD) – Caracas (CCS)

Dates of operation: March 11 and 25.

Schedule:

  • Departure 17:00 – Arrival 21:25

Caracas (CCS) – Madrid (MAD)

Operation date: March 12

Schedule:

  • Departure 18:00 – Arrival 07:40+1

Operation date: March 26

Schedule:

  • Departure 18:00 – Arrival 08:40+1

Flights will be operated in Airbus A330-200 aircraft with a capacity of 314 seats, 21 in premium economy and 293 in economy class.

Plus Ultra

The airline will restart operations from February 10 the route Madrid (MAD) – Caracas (CCS) with a weekly flight on Thursday, from February 17 increases to 2 weekly frequencies on Thursday and Sunday, the schedule is as follows:

Madrid (MAD) – Caracas (CCS)
  • Arrival 11:00 – Departure 15:30
Caracas (CCS) – Madrid (MAD)
  •  Arrival 18:00 – 07:55+1

Flights will be operated with Airbus A340-300 aircraft.

Air Europa

The company canceled its operations during the month of February, and has rescheduled its return to Venezuela on March 1, with a weekly flight on Tuesday, the company plans to increase to two weekly frequencies in April, the itinerary is as follows:

  • Madrid – Caracas Flight UX71 MAD 15:20 – CCS 19:40
  • Caracas – Madrid Flight UX72 CCS 21:40 – MAD 12:20+1

The flights will be operated by Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

Conviasa, Air Europa, Iberia, and Plus Ultra are the only airlines authorized by INAC for flights between Venezuela and Spain.
