The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) reported that the US State Department has authorized the possible sale of up to 36 F-15EX to Indonesia, for about USD 13.9 billion.
According to the DSCA press release, the package offered to Indonesia consists of:

The DSCA published this document on the same day that, in Jakarta, the purchase of 42 Dassault Rafale from France was signed. Which in turn creates great uncertainty about Indonesia’s continued participation in the KF-21 Boramae multirole fighter program, despite sustained rhetoric between the two sides that the partnership is not only continuing, but deepening.
It seems unlikely that Jakarta will be able to honor its commitments simultaneously to Paris, Washington and Seoul. It is also unclear whether all of the offered F-15IDs will be acquired, as some time ago, Indonesian Air Force (TNI-AU) Chief of Staff Marshal Fadjar Prasetyo told local media of his government’s intention to induct «36 Dassault Rafale and 8 F-15EX» from 2024 onwards.
