Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport welcomed the resumption of seasonal Air France service to Paris (CDG) and a new service to the Nordic region with Finnair from Helsinki (HEL) on Sunday, March 27.
New transatlantic service
During the 2022 summer season, Finnair expands its operations to the United States with increased route frequencies and the launch of new destinations.
The Finnish airline inaugurated its first destination in Texas to Dallas / Fort Worth (DFW) from Helsinki (HEL) with four weekly flights (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday). These are operated on Airbus A350-900s. For the new inaugural flight, the company used the OH-LWD-registered aircraft, which has the new Business, Premium Economy, and Economy cabins recently introduced by the company.
DFW is the mega-hub for American Airlines’ Oneworld and transatlantic joint venture partner Finnair, which will offer customers multiple connections to more than 100 destinations in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

Another flight to the Eiffel Tower
Air France launched its second destination in Texas to Dallas/Fort Worth after two consecutive summers without operating this service due to health restrictions. The French flag carrier will offer three flights a week (Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday) operated by Boeing 777-200ER.
