Aviation in Colombia continues its accelerated post-pandemic recovery with the introduction of new destinations by airlines.
Wingo
The Low Cost airline, on March 31 inaugurated a service between Medellin (MDE) and Santo Domingo (SDQ) will be the only airline on this route and will be the fourth service from the Dominican Republic.

Wingo will operate two flights per week (Monday and Friday) on Boeing 737-800 NG aircraft, according to data obtained by Aviacionline during the summer season will have an offer of 5,070 seats per week in 30 air operations between Colombia and Dominican Republic.
LATAM Airlines
The leading airline in South America reactivates international flights from its subsidiary in Ecuador, on April 1st the company started operations between Quito (UIO) and Bogota (BOG) with five flights per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) operated in Airbus A319 with 144 seats and an offer of 700 seats per week, the schedule is as follows:

- Flight LA1443 BOG 20:07 – UIO 21:45 Tuesday and Sunday.
According to data obtained by Aviacionline through statistics from the Civil Aeronautics of Colombia in 2019 between Bogota (BOG) and Quito (UIO) 432,743 passengers were mobilized.
