Iberojet has signed an interline agreement which, as of May 2, will allow it to connect its flights with Air Europa’s domestic and European network, increasing travel options and comfort for its passengers.

Thanks to this new agreement, the Spanish leisure airline will offer its flights with the entire route issued on a single ticket and with checked baggage from origin to destination.

Iberojet’s routes to Punta Cana (PUJ), Cancun (CUN), Havana (HAV), Varadero (VRA), San Jose de Costa Rica (SJO), Los Cabos (SJD) and Mauritius (MRU) will now be able to connect with thirteen destinations in Spain and eleven in Europe operated by Air Europa.

Itineraries combining Air Europa flights with Iberojet flights will be available for sale from the global distribution systems (GDS) as well as from the Spanish leisure airline’s website.

In addition, to offer a more efficient and higher quality service to its customers, from May 2 Iberojet will move its operations to Terminal 1 of Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas International Airport, reducing waiting times on connecting flights with Air Europa.

The Spanish leisure airline’s counters will be in the departures hall of Terminal 1 (second floor) in the same way as its commercial office.

Iberojet will modify the scheduling of some of its flights in order to optimize its connecting flights with Air Europa. One of the destinations with a change of schedule is Havana (HAV), which from May 2 will depart three hours later than its regular itinerary, so as to be able to connect to and from Air Europa flights.

“This agreement signed with Air Europa is very good news for Iberojet. One of the fundamental pillars since the creation of the airline has been to offer a comfortable experience for the traveler, in which our customers have no worries during the journey to their destination,” said Paul Verhagen, deputy general manager of Iberojet.

“This new agreement, which increases our connection options with flights from Spain and Europe to our Caribbean, Pacific and Indian destinations, will make our travelers’ experience even more pleasant and comfortable,” added Verhagen.
