Effective June 18th, Conviasa will begin flying between Caracas and Tehran. Operations will be carried out in Airbus A340-300 and Airbus A340-600, with capacity for 255 and 308 passengers respectively, twice per month.
The Venezuelan state-owned airline will inaugurate its services to Tehran after several months of delay. Conviasa was originally scheduled to start flights in 2021.
Tehran will have a non-stop connection to South America for the first time.
