Last Friday, July 1st, Binter Canarias inaugurated its flights between Gran Canaria Airport (LPA) and Valladolid Airport (VLL). The airline will offer a weekly service in both directions every Friday.

On the other hand, it has already confirmed an additional weekly frequency for the autumn and winter season. Starting in October, it will connect Gran Canaria and Valladolid on Mondays and Thursdays.

The company highlighted the Discover service, an initiative launched in June that allows passengers on domestic routes connecting the Iberian Peninsula and the Canary archipelago to visit two islands on the same trip for an additional 40 euros.

“Binter facilitates, free of charge, the linking of these national routes with the inter-island ones in the Canary Islands in the case of connecting flights, making it possible to reach different islands of the Canary archipelago thanks to the wide connectivity allowed by the daily flights it carries out there”, the company underlined through a statement.

The operations will be carried out with Embraer E195-E2 aircraft for up to 132 passengers in a single class. The model is one of the most efficient options among short- and medium-range single-aisle aircraft. It offers operators considerable benefits in terms of lower operating costs, fuel savings and reduced emissions.

Daniel Rosales, Binter Canarias’ commercial manager for the Spanish and Portuguese markets, said they are “very satisfied” with the evolution of the demand on the route. In this sense, he emphasized that the expectations of the company for the summer season are being fulfilled. So far, reservations have reached an occupancy factor of 85%.
