Air France resumes flights between Montreal and Guadeloupe

Starting October 22, Air France will resume its seasonal service between Montreal (YUL) and Guadeloupe (PTP) with two weekly flights. From Pointe-à-Pitre International Airport, the French flag carrier will offer two nonstop connections in North America.

According to data obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium, the French carrier will have an offer of 672 seats per week in four air operations on this route.

Data compiled through Eurostat indicate that in 2019 between Pointe-à-Pitre International Airport (PTP) and Pierre Elliot Trudeau Airport (YUL) 60,827 passengers were mobilized, it was the largest North American route in Guadeloupe.

Flight Itinerary

  • Guadeloupe – Montreal Flight AF 624 PTP 16:20 – YUL 20:50 Tuesday and Saturday.
  • Montreal – Guadeloupe Flight AF 625 YUL 10:00 – PTP 15:50 Wednesday and Sunday.

The flights will be operated on Airbus A320ceo aircraft with a capacity of 168 seats in two classes (12 Business Class/156 Economy) and promotional fares are available from 219 euros each way, this service will be available until March 28, 2023.

According to data compiled through Cirium, Air France will be the third largest carrier on this route with a market share of 20.8%, the airline competes with Air Canada offering flights on Boeing 737-8 and Air Transat on Airbus A321LR.

In addition to its Canadian service from Pointe-à-Pitre, the French flag carrier also offers two weekly flights to Miami (MIA) operated on Airbus A320s for the 2022/2022 northern winter season.

  • Miami – Guadeloupe Flight AF 617 MIA 13:15 – PTP 17:35 Tuesday and Saturday.
  • Guadeloupe – Miami Flight AF 616 PTP 09:00 – MIA 15:00 Tuesday and Saturday.

Air France will also offer during the winter from Paris – Charles de Gaulle (GDL) 17 flights a week from Montreal (YUL) and 19 weekly flights to Miami (MIA) all operated by Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft.

Air France’s schedule in Guadeloupe for winter 2022/2023

The French airline will have an offer of 18,552 seats per week on 58 air operations from Pointe-à-Pitre International Airport from five destinations, the schedule is as follows:

  • Paris – Charles de Gaulle (CDG) daily flights on 472-seat Boeing 777-300ER.
  • Martinique (FDF) 10 flights per week on Airbus A320.
  • Miami (MIA) two flights per week on Airbus A320.
  • Paris – Orly (ORY) 13 flights per week on Boeing 777-300ER and 777-200ER.
  • Montreal (YUL) two flights per week on Airbus A320.
