Colombia: Sunwing Airlines will fly between Montreal and San Andres

As of December 14, Sunwing Airlines will begin flights between Montreal (YUL) and San Andres (ADZ) with a weekly frequency, this will be the company’s only service from Colombia. This will be the second North American connection from Gustavo Rojas Pinilla Airport (ADZ).

The airline will offer package tours to the Colombian island with Decameron All Inclusive Hotels & Resorts that include all the necessary services for passengers during their stay.

Data compiled by Aviacionline through Aerocivil statistics indicate that in 2019 between San Andres (ADZ) and Montreal (YUL) 3.774 passengers were mobilized.

Flight Itinerary

  • Montreal – San Andres Flight WG 098 YUL 10:00 – ADZ 15:25 Wednesday.
  • San Andres – Montreal Flight WG 099 ADZ 16:40 – YUL 21:50 Wednesday.

The flights will be operated in Boeing 737-800 aircraft with a capacity of 189 passengers in single configuration and the prices of the vacation packages are available from CAD 5,770.

The only carrier to provide non-stop service between Canada and San Andres (ADZ) was on Air Transat during the 2019/2020 winter season, Canada’s largest leisure airline operated a weekly flight between Montreal (YUL) and Gustavo Rojas Pinilla Airport (ADZ) on 189-seat Airbus A321s.
