Norse Atlantic

This Wednesday (17), Norse Atlantic Airways inaugurated its transatlantic operations from Berlin-Brandenburg Airport (BER) with non-stop service from New York (JFK), making the low-cost airline the second carrier to offer routes to the United States from the German capital.

Flight NO 601 was operated in a Boeing 787 Dreamliner registered with the registration number LN-FNI, the aircraft took off from Brandenburg Airport at 20:01 local time and landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport at 22:11.

Kennedy Airport and will be complemented by its non-stop service from Los Angeles (LAX) with three weekly flights. Norse Atlantic is the only airline to offer non-stop flights between Berlin and the West Coast of the United States.

Brandenburg Airport (BER) becomes the low-cost carrier’s third base along with London Gatwick (LGW) and Oslo (OSL), the carrier’s initial plan is to connect Europe with the United States by offering affordable fares.
