After reestablishing diplomatic ties, Venezuela authorizes flights to and from Colombia

Instituto Nacional de Aeronáutica Civil (INAC) authorizes regular passenger, cargo and mail flights between Venezuela and Colombia under the conformity of NOTAM N°1157/22 and A0507/22 dated September 9.

Recently both nations reestablished diplomatic relations and announced the reopening of the Colombian-Venezuelan border as of September 26, the first routes from Bogota (BOG) to Valencia (VLN) and Caracas (CCS) are expected to begin, in addition to the return of airlines such as Avianca and LATAM.

Currently the countries that are authorized by INAC to operate commercial flights are: Turkey, Russia, Mexico, Bolivia, Panama, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Spain, Portugal, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Iran, Brazil, Algeria, Qatar and now Colombia.
