Air France increases the capacity of its operation in Colombia by replacing the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with the Airbus A350-900 on its Paris (CDG) – Bogota (BOG) route for the summer boreal season of 2023 according to the company’s reservation system, this represents a 17.4% increase in the supply of seats.
According to data obtained by Aviacionline through Civil Aeronautics statistics, the French airline mobilized 149,913 passengers in the January – November 2023 period between Paris (CDG) – Bogota (BOG), a 92.5% recovery of passenger traffic, when compared to 2019 levels.
Air France will be the second airline to operate in Colombia with the Airbus A350-900 along with Iberia. Currently, the company also operates with this aircraft in several Latin American destinations that include Buenos Aires (EZE), Sao Paulo (GRU), Lima (LIM), Mexico City (MEX), Santiago de Chile (SCL) and San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO).

The Airbus A350-900s have a capacity of 324 passengers in a 3-class configuration (34 Business Class/24 Premium Economy/266 Economy) and promotional fares are available from USD 271 one-way.
According to data obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium, the Air France – KLM Group will have an offer of 8,386 weekly seats in Colombia for next summer: the Dutch subsidiary will also operate daily in Boeing 787-9 on a triangulated route between Bogota (BOG) and Cartagena (CTG).
