This Thursday (12), Albatros Airlines resumed operations with new charter services from Maracay (MYC) and Barcelona (BLA) to Porlamar (PMV). The company is the only airline operator offering non-stop air connections between Aragua State and Margarita Island.
«Great news for our state! We are reopening the doors of the Tacariguas Airport in Maracay, to boost tourism, in commercial alliance with the Albatros company for direct trips to Porlamar and Barcelona, connecting Aragua with Venezuela,» said Karina Carpio, governor of Aragua state.
The new Albatros Airlines service reactivates passenger operations at Los Tacariguas Airport (MYC), in this way the airline reinforces air connectivity at national level and increases tourism activity in the country.
The celebration of these flights was attended by regional authorities, civil aviation delegates, BAER S.A. employees and the vice-president of Albatros, Ricardo Navarro. With the beginning of these routes, the domestic offer of the Santiago Mariño International Airport (PMV), now connected to 13 destinations in Venezuela, is consolidated.

- Maracay (MYC) 09:00 – Porlamar (PMV) 10:00 Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
- Porlamar (PMV) 13:00 – Maracay (MYC) 14:00 Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
Flight itinerary between Anzoátegui and Margarita Island
- Barcelona (BLA) 10:30 – Porlamar (PMV) 10:50 Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
- Porlamar (PMV) 11:20 – Barcelona (BLA) 11:40 Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
Flights will be operated in the Embraer 120 aircraft registered with registration number YV2776 with capacity for 30 passengers in single configuration.
