All Nippon Airways Boosts Long-Haul Flights for Summer Travel Season

All Nippon Airways (ANA) is strengthening its operations to Australia, India, the United States, Canada and Europe for this summer season. The Japanese airline continues to re-establish its intercontinental network as travel demand recovers.

ANA will reactivate multiple international routes from Tokyo – Narita (NRT) and Tokyo – Haneda (HND) that have been suspended since the start of the pandemic. In addition, it will increase its flights in key destinations for the company.

Australia

The airline is strengthening its operations in Australia by increasing its non-stop services between Haneda (HND) and Sydney (SYD) to 10 flights a week from January 22, then by March 26 it will offer up to two daily flights on this route.

Haneda (HND) – Sydney (SYD)
  • Flight NH 889 HND 08:55 – SYD 19:30 daily flights.
  • Flight NH 879 HND 22:20 – SYD 08:55+1 daily flights.
Sydney (SYD) – Haneda (HND)
  • Flight NH 890 SYD 12:00 – HND 20:30 daily flights.
  • Flight NH 880 SYD 21:00 – HND 05:40+1 daily flights.

The route will be operated on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft with a seating capacity of 239.

For the 2023/2024 northern winter season, the company will resume operations between Narita (NRT) and Perth (PER) with three weekly flights, the route will be available for sale soon.

India

Starting January 24, the company will increase its services between Haneda (HND) and Delhi (DEL) from five weekly operations to daily flights on Boeing 787-9s with a capacity of 215 passengers. In addition, by April 17 it will modify its schedule between Narita (NRT) and Mumbai (BOM) to operate on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Services to Chennai (MAA) continue to be suspended.

North America

Effective March 26, ANA will move its operations from Narita (NRT) to Haneda (HND) on the following destinations: Seattle – Tacoma (SEA), Washington – Dulles (IAD), Houston – Intercontinental (IAH) and Vancouver (YVR). These changes are a result of health relaxations in Japan and increased demand from business travelers.

Europe

With the start of the summer season, the airline will increase its connectivity in Germany with the resumption of its operations between Haneda (HND) and Munich (MUC) with three weekly flights on Boeing 787-9, which will complement its services to Frankfurt (FRA).

  • Haneda – Munich Flight NH 217 HND 12:30 – MUC 17:20 Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
  • Munich – Haneda Flight NH 218 MUC 21:25 – HND 15:50+1 Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.

In addition, as previously announced, services between Narita (NRT) and Brussels (BRU) will resume from March 11.
