Avelo Airlines inaugurated this Wednesday (1) its scheduled flights between Orlando and Wilmington, Delaware. The company will operate with Boeing 737-700 aircraft configured for 149 passengers in single class.

- This new route will bring Avelo’s total number of cities from MCO to 10, joining Binghamton, New York; Dayton, Ohio; Dubuque, Iowa; New Haven, Connecticut; Newport News/Williamsburg, Virginia; Wilmington, North Carolina; and two Michigan cities: Kalamazoo and Lansing.
Greater Orlando Aviation Authority Chief Executive Officer Kevin Thibault said, “The expansion of service from Avelo Airlines to Orlando International Airport reaffirms our belief, that Orlando and Central Florida offer outstanding value for travelers from across the nation. We hope that Avelo’s new routes to two popular destinations like Wilmington and Raleigh Durham will offer countless business and leisure travel opportunities for all three communities.”
