Delta is bolstering its presence in Texas for this northern summer, offering Dallas Love Field (DAL) customers connections to more than 125 U.S. destinations via its major hubs in New York, Los Angeles and Atlanta.
Beginning June 5, it will operate the following services from Love Field:
- New York – LaGuardia (LGA): two daily flights.
- Los Angeles (LAX): two daily flights.
- Service to Atlanta (ATL) increases to five daily flights.
The company will offer 16,368 seats per week at Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL), representing an 85% increase in capacity compared to pre-pandemic levels. The company’s new routes will complement its Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) operations, where the airline offers multiple daily flights from 8 of its 9 U.S. hubs.

Delta for the northern summer will have nearly 40 daily operations to eight destinations from Dallas‘ major airports, operating three of the Texas city’s top five markets and will be the only carrier offering service to New York and Los Angeles from DFW and DAL.
All carrier services at DAL will be operated on 132-seat Airbus A319 aircraft (12 First Class/18 Delta Comfort+/102 Economy) equipped with free Wi – Fi and in-flight entertainment screens with a wide range of movies, TV shows, podcasts and more.

Strengthening connectivity in Texas
Delta continues to expand its capacity in Texas, with an increase of 20% more seats available compared to last season, including increased operations in Austin, Houston, Dallas and San Antonio.
Austin (AUS) is the fastest growing airport from 2019 according to Cirium data, due to the city’s strong growth. To meet growing passenger demand, Delta is bolstering domestic operations with nearly 40 daily flights to 10 major cities.
Starting June 5, the airline will increase its flights from AUS to the following destinations:
- New York (JFK): four daily flights.
- Salt Lake City (SLC): four daily flights.
And beginning July 10, it will increase service to:
- Atlanta (ATL): 10 daily flights.
- Boston (BOS): 3 daily flights.
- Los Angeles (LAX): four daily flights.
- Minneapolis (MSP): four daily flights.
- Raleigh/Durham (RDU): two daily flights.
- Seattle – Tacoma (SEA): three daily flights.
This growth domestically is complemented by Delta’s partner services through its global hubs in Amsterdam (AMS), Mexico City (MEX) and London – Heathrow (LHR), offering Austin customers more travel options.
Delta will also resume two routes in Texas:
- San Antonio (SAN) – New York (JFK) resumes May 8, service will be operated on an Airbus A220, this route had not operated since 2020.
- Seasonal service between Harlingen (HRL) and Minneapolis (MSP) begins February 17, operated on Airbus A320s.
