With this announcement, Azul becomes the third company to connect the metropolitan areas of Paris with São Paulo, although it is the first to not use the Guarulhos (GRU) – Charles de Gaulle (CDG) pairing. LATAM operates a daily flight on its Boeing 787-9 and Air France operates two daily flights on Airbus A350-900 and Boeing 777-300ER.

According to information obtained through ANAC Brazil, in 2022 the connection moved 453,440 passengers compared to 602,174 in 2019, 75.30% of pre-pandemic traffic.

For Azul, this is the second destination in Europe, as it operates between Lisbon (LIS), Portugal, and Campinas (VCP) with 13 weekly flights on its Airbus A330neo and soon with the A350.
