Brussels Airport (BRU) starts the 2023 summer season with an offer of 175 destinations operated by 58 airlines. In addition, it will have 9 new routes in Europe, Canada and North Africa.
Overview of new services
Brussels Airlines is expanding its narrowbody fleet with four additional aircraft. The airline will offer new routes to Warsaw, Brindisi, Djerba, Monastir and Zurich, and will have a schedule to 92 destinations this summer.
TUI fly will start new flights to Al Hoceima and Rabat, expanding its network in Morocco to ten destinations. The leisure company will also start four routes in Algeria: Bejaia, Constantine, Oran and Tlemcen. This summer, TUI fly operates 73 non-stop services from Brussels (BRU).
Transavia has based a second aircraft at Belgium’s main airport, bringing its network to nine routes, including new services to Malaga, Seville, Zakynthos and Santorini.
Corendon will have three aircraft based in Brussels (BRU) this summer. In addition to five destinations in Turkey, the company also offers non-stop flights to Bourgas, Hurghada, Heraklion, Kos, Rhodes, Palma de Mallorca and Tenerife – South.
Vueling is launching new services to the Belgian capital from Bilbao and Seville, operating a total of seven destinations in Spain. SunExpress will have new routes to Dalaman and Kayseri, expanding its network in Turkey to seven destinations. Ryanair is scheduled to operate more than 70 weekly flights to 12 airports, including a new route to Pisa.
In the long-haul market, Air Canada will begin a five-flights-a-week service from Toronto starting August 1, complementing its daily operations from Montreal. The company will have 12 flights a week between Canada and Belgium.

For this summer season, Brussels Airport’s (BRU) long-haul network comprises 35 destinations:
- 6 nonstop services in North America (New York, Newark, Chicago, Washington, Montreal, Toronto) by Brussels Airlines, Air Canada, United Airlines, Delta Air Lines and Air Transat.
- 4 routes in Mexico and the Caribbean by TUI fly (Punta Cana, Cancun, Varadero and Montego Bay).
- 21 sub-Saharan destinations, including 17 by Brussels Airlines; Johannesburg, Cape Town and Mauritius by Air Belgium; Addis Ababa by Ethiopian Airlines and Kigali by Rwandair.
- 3 routes in the Gulf: Abu Dhabi by Etihad, Doha by Qatar Airways and Dubai by Emirates.
- 2 destinations in Asia – Pacific: Beijing through a daily flight by Hainan Airlines and a twice weekly service to Tokyo – Narita operated by All Nippon Airways.
