Porto Airport (OPO) continues to strengthen its activity with tourist nations such as France, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Germany, which are Portugal’s main markets.
With an active development in connectivity, ANA and VINCI achieved a strong recovery in Porto (OPO) where it mobilized more than 12.6 million passengers, an increase of 116.3% over the previous year.
As a result of its investment strategy, VINCI Airports carried out a major remodeling of the Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO) terminal to provide new commercial offerings. The concessionaire has also involved Porto (OPO) in environmental plans where it has already reached the goal of zero waste to landfill and is committed to achieving NetZero emissions (Scopes 1 and 2) by 2030.
It also has energy efficiency projects, such as replacing conventional lighting with LEDs and supplying electricity to aircraft when parked. The entire vehicle fleet will be renewed with low-emission models.
