Edelweiss will expand its long-haul operations for the 2023/2024 winter schedule, offering 20 destinations in 15 countries, reinforcing its flight to the United States, South Africa and Thailand.
United States
The leisure airline will extend its service to Las Vegas (LAS) through November to meet strong demand for the F1 event, which will be held November 16-18.
Edelweiss will operate year-round to Tampa, Florida (TPA) and will have twice-weekly flights in the winter season.
Caribbean and South America
The company will have the same schedule in the Caribbean as last winter season. Cancun (CUN) will have three weekly flights, Havana (HAV) one weekly flight and Punta Cana (PUJ) twice a week.
The service to Puerto Plata (POP) will operate one weekly flight in combination with Montego Bay (MBJ). In Costa Rica, the company will have three weekly flights to San Jose (SJO), including two flights per week with a stopover in Liberia/Guanacaste (LIR).
Starting November 22, 2023, Edelweiss will resume operations to South America with a new Colombia service with a combined flight between Bogota (BOG) and Cartagena (CTG).
Africa and Thailand
The airline will increase its flights to Cape Town (CPT) to four times a week and extend service until the end of August. The Tanzania service will have two weekly flights with a combined route between Zanzibar (ZNZ) and Kilimanjaro (JRO).
By early October, Edelweiss will restart operations to Phuket (HKT) with three weekly flights.
Middle East and Indian Ocean
Services to Muscat (MCT), Mauritius (MRU) and Seychelles (SEZ) will continue to be available for the winter schedule. Operations to Maldives (MLE) will have three weekly flights and will offer a weekly connecting flight to Colombo (CMB).
