LEVEL arrives in South Florida with Barcelona-Miami Flights

LEVEL expands its 2024 summer schedule with the launch of a new non-stop service between Barcelona and Miami. To cater to the increased operations for next summer, a sixth aircraft will be added to the fleet, specifically an Airbus A330-200.

Miami will become the fifth destination in the United States and third on the East Coast in LEVEL’s network, along with Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York JFK. IAG’s airline will also consolidate its position as the second long-haul low-cost carrier at Miami International Airport, after Norse Atlantic, boosting affordable travel across the Atlantic.

The introduction of the sixth aircraft to LEVEL’s fleet is part of the airline’s strategic plan to promote and consolidate the intercontinental hub in Barcelona.

«Today is a very important day for the company, since announcing the incorporation of the sixth aircraft and the new Barcelona – Miami route is a great step forward in LEVEL’s commitment to connect Barcelona with distant destinations in America. We are diversifying our offer in order to offer a broader and more robust product to our customers,» said Lucía Adrover, Chief Commercial Officer of LEVEL.

According to data obtained by Aviacionline through Aena Estadísticas, in the January-August 2023 period, 104,408 passengers and 1,787.6 tons of cargo were mobilized between Barcelona and Miami. LEVEL will operate in segment with its partner airline American Airlines, which currently offers one daily flight operated by Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
