Porter Airlines is expanding its transcontinental operations with new nonstop service between Ottawa and Calgary International Airport. With this route, the airline connects the Canadian capital with three cities on Canada’s west coast.
In late July of this year, Porter’s first service between Ottawa and Vancouver strengthened the airline’s coast-to-coast connectivity, and the expansion continues with the start of nonstop flights between the Canadian capital and Edmonton. In total, the company will have a 5,544-seat weekly offering between Ottawa and Canada’s west coast.
«This route is another way for passengers to travel across Canada with Porter, including important connecting flight options via Ottawa. Passengers can expect to enjoy an elevated economy experience they won’t find anywhere else,» said Kevin Jackson, executive vice president and chief commercial officer for Porter Airlines.
Porter’s Ottawa route network offers service to Charlottetown, Halifax, Moncton, New York/Newark, Toronto-Pearson, Toronto-City, Thunder Bay, Boston and soon Orlando, Fort Lauderdale and Calgary.
