AerCap Holdings, the world’s largest aircraft lessor, has delivered its first passenger-to-freighter (P2F) converted Airbus A321 to the Indian airline IndiGo. The aircraft conversion was carried out by Elbe Flugzeugwerke, known as EFW, before being handed over to the airline from the workshops owned by ST Engineering, their partner in the program, in Singapore.
The A321P2F, developed by ST Engineering and converted by EFW, allows the transportation of 14 cargo pallets weighing up to 27.9 tons. Its maximum range is 4,260 kilometers. Along with its smaller sibling, the A320P2F, which can accommodate up to ten containers with a payload of up to 21.9 tons and a range of 3,426 kilometers, they are the flagship products of ST Engineering and EFW.

In a statement, Rich Greener, the head of AerCap’s cargo division, expressed his satisfaction. «We celebrate the delivery of AerCap’s first Airbus A321 P2F to our long-standing customer, IndiGo.
