Global Airlines will collaborate with JETMS, a subsidiary of Avia, to revamp the interior of its first Airbus A380, that it will use for flights between London and the United States. Work on the first aircraft is scheduled to begin in January 2024. The airline, founded in 2022, aims to “enhance the passenger experience for First Class, Business, and Economy travelers.”
Initially, JETMS will remodel the aircraft’s interior, preparing it for its inaugural flights, while the remaining planes the Global is waiting for will undergo a complete refurbishment tailored to the airline’s specifications. Factorydesign was responsible for conceptualizing the fleet’s interiors.

James Asquith, CEO and founder of the airline, commented on this collaboration. “JETMS does exceptional work with private aircraft interiors. We believe they can import these standards and finishes into the commercial sector. I have full confidence that the synergy between JETMS and Factorydesign will bring our product to life. I look forward to sharing images and videos of this transformation with our passengers to showcase the progress we are making in preparation for the entry into service of the first aircraft,” said the executive.
Gegams Hanamirjans, CEO of JETMS, added to his counterpart’s remarks. The executive stated, “Having the opportunity to contribute to the resurgence of the A380 in the global skies was a project that excited everyone in the company and serves as a testament to the incredible advancements we have made this year. Our focus is on ensuring that all elements of the supply chain are in place. This will allow us to commence the renovation of the first aircraft early next year.”
Global Airlines anticipates that the first commercial operations using its A380 with a refurbished interior will take place in the spring of 2024. Initially, it will offer connections between London-Gatwick Airport (LGW) and the U.S. cities of New York and Los Angeles. Among its intriguing future route plans, the company envisions a direct link between London and Sydney, Australia.
