Porter Airlines began non-stop service between Lester Pearson International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport on January 16. The airline is the eleventh carrier to offer flights between the West Coast of the United States and Canada.
Flight PD 663 was operated on an Embraer E195-E2 registered as C-GKOP. The aircraft took off from Toronto at 11;43 local time and landed in Los Angeles at 13:43 at 13:43 at 13:43, after four hours and 59 minutes.

The company’s U.S. network offers 12 destinations in the U.S. The schedule has Boston, Newark, Washington – Dulles, Chicago – Midway, Fort Lauderdale, Los Angeles, Orlando, Miami, Fort Myers, San Francisco, Tampa, and soon Las Vegas.
Recently, the Canadian carrier began a partnership with Alaska Airlines that allows travelers from Eastern Canada to access 11 U.S. coastal destinations via Los Angeles. including Portland, San Diego, Seattle, and Phoenix.
