Qatar Airways resumed operations to Osaka after eight years. This new service will be complemented by flights to Tokyo. The airline’s last operation at Kansai Airport was on March 31, 2016.
Flight QR 802 was operated on an Airbus A350 registered as A7-ALI. The aircraft took off from Hamad International Airport on March 1 at 01:32 local time and landed at Kansai Airport at 15:49, after eight hours and 18 minutes.
Qatar Airways schedule to Osaka
- Doha – Osaka Flight QR 802 DOH 01:10 – KIX 16:30 daily flights.
- Osaka – Doha Flight QR 803 KIX 18:00 – DOH 00:05+1 daily flights.
The route will be operated on Airbus A350-900 aircraft with 36 Business Class and 247 Economy Class seats.

Qatar Airways provides connectivity to 14 domestic destinations in Japan as part of its partnership with Japan Airlines. In addition, the Japanese carrier has placed its code on Narita, Haneda and Kansai flights, as well as 14 destinations in the Qatar Airways network via Doha.
