airBaltic expands its European operations with a new non-stop service between Riga and Ljubljana. This new service will strengthen commercial and cultural ties between Estonia and Slovenia, as well as offering a wider range of European destinations.
Flight BT477 was operated by an Airbus A220-300 registered as YL-ABU. After two hours and one minute, the aircraft took off from Riga Airport at 11:24 and landed at Ljubljana Airport at 12:25.

- Riga – Ljubljana Flight BT 477 RIX 11:45 – LBJ 13:00 Thursday and Sunday.
- Ljubljana – Riga Flight BT 478 LBJ 13:45 – RIX 17:00 Thursday and Sunday.
During the 2024 summer season, airBaltic will provide 15 new routes from Baltic and Tampere. The airline will offer new services from Vilnius to Krakow, Lisbon, Hamburg and Sandefjord, from Tallinn to Billund, Burgas, Killita and Malta from Riga to Chisinau, Madeira, Pristina, Liepaja, Pristina, Skopje, Sofia and Tirana,
airBaltic operates more than 130 routes from Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius, Tampere and, seasonally, Gran Canaria, offering connections to a wide range of destinations in the airline’s route network in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and the Caucasus region.
In addition to the new airBaltic service, Ljubljana Airport will be served this summer by Norwegian from Copenhagen, Iberia from Madrid and Coredom from Heraklion and Antalya.
