Emirates resumes flights to Cambodia

Emirates expands its international operations to Cambodia: the airline will have flights to Phnom Penh with a stopover in Singapore. The resumption of this service brings Emirates’ network to 21 destinations in the Far East and the Singapore connection will have up to four daily flights.

The inaugural flight was flown on a three-class Boeing 777-300ER: flight EK348 arrived at Phnom Penh International Airport on May 1 and was greeted by a traditional Cambodian dance performance. The high-level Emirates delegation, accompanied by international media. was welcomed by His Excellency Dr. Mao Havannall, Minister in charge of the Secretariat of State for Civil Aviation, and Cyril Girot, Executive Director of Cambodia Airports.

«Phnom Penh International Airport is rebuilding its international route network with the reconnection of Emirates to the Kingdom’s capital. This is great news for passengers, who will have more access to inbound and outbound travel options, further enhancing their travel experience,» said Girot.

  • Dubai – Singapore Flight EK 348 DXB 02:30 – SIN 14:30 daily flights.
  • Singapore – Phnom Penh Flight EK 348 SIN 15:35 – PNH 16:35 daily flights.
  • Phnom Penh – Singapore Flight EK 349 PNH 20:50 – SIN 23:50 daily flights.
  • Singapore – Dubai Flight EK 349 SIN 01:40 – DXB 04:55 daily flights.

In the past 24 months, Emirates SkyCargo has moved 2,400 tons of cargo to and from Phnom Penh through a road shuttle service and airline partnerships, providing connectivity across Thailand and Malaysia.

With the start of flights to Phnom Penh, it will boost trade links between Cambodia and the rest of the world, with an available cargo capacity of 300 tons per week to key markets such as the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Canada, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
