Emirates is expanding its services in the United Kingdom with the resumption of its non-stop flights to Edinburgh for this winter season. The return to the Scottish capital is complemented by the daily flight to Glasgow operated on Airbus A380s. In total, the airline will offer two daily flights to/from Scotland.

The Gulf carrier commenced operations to Edinburgh in 2018 using a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The airline will resume operations to the Scottish capital with its new A350 aircraft. Customers traveling from Edinburgh can make connections via Dubai to the airline’s extensive network of more than 130 destinations, including popular destinations such as the Maldives, Bangkok, Bali, and Sydney.

Flight Schedule

  • Dubai – Edinburgh Flight EK23 DXB 14:50 – EDI 19:05 daily flights.
  • Edinburgh – Dubai Flight EK24 EDI 20:40 – DXB 08:05+1 daily flights.

The flights will be operated on Airbus A350-900 aircraft with a total of 312 seats, including 32 Business Class seats, 21 Premium Economy seats, and 259 Economy seats.

Emirates’ daily service to Edinburgh will also increase cargo capacity, enabling Emirates SkyCargo, the airline’s cargo subsidiary, to move 16 tons of cargo per flight. This supports local businesses, optimizes trade links with global markets, and increases exports.

Emirates has recently scheduled the introduction of its new Airbus A350-900 aircraft, which will fly to nine destinations in the Middle East, West Asia, and Europe. Customers will be able to enjoy the Premium Economy cabin and access a new Business Class product.

Edinburgh will be Emirates’ eighth destination in the UK. The Gulf carrier operates 133 weekly flights in the UK across seven destinations, including London-Heathrow, London-Gatwick, London-Stansted, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, and Glasgow, using a mixed fleet of Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft.
