Portland International Airport Gains a Fourth European Airline

KLM expands its transatlantic network with new year-round service between Amsterdam and Portland, Oregon, bringing its offering to 14 U.S. destinations. The Dutch airline replaces the operation of its partner Delta Airlines, which has operated between Portland and Schiphol Airport for 15 years,
With the start of the new route, Delta completely ceases its long-haul operations between Portland and Amsterdam, while KLM becomes the fourth European airline to have flights to Portland, joining British Airways from London-Heathrow, Condor from Frankfurt and Icelandair from Reykjavik.
KLM’s U.S. network also has service to Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Washington-Dulles, Houston-Intercontinental, New York-JFK, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Chicago O’Hare, San Francisco and seasonal routes to Miami and Salt Lake City.

Starts October 27, 2024.
  • Amsterdam – Portland Flight KL 615 AMS 10:25 – PDX 11:25 Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
  • Portland – Amsterdam Flight KL 616 PDX 13:25 – AMS 07:50+1 Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.

Flight schedule (summer 2025)

  • Amsterdam – Portland Flight KL 615 AMS 10:25 – PDX 11:25 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
  • Portland – Amsterdam Flight KL 616 PDX 13:25 – AMS 07:50+1 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
The flights will be operated on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft with 275 seats in three classes: 30 World Business Class, 21 Premium Comfort Class and 224 Ecconomy.
