Porter Airlines Doubles Capacity to Five Florida Destinations and Adds Service to West Palm Beach

Porter Airlines has significantly doubled its capacity in Florida this winter season to meet growing demand. The new schedule includes up to 126 daily flights on 14 routes from four eastern Canadian destinations: Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and Halifax.

The airline’s Florida network has service to Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Miami, Orlando, Tampa and a new seasonal service to West Palm Beach, which will operate from Toronto-Pearson and begin in mid-November of this year.

There will be new service from Montreal-Trudeau to Fort Lauderdale and Fort Myers starting this winter, Porter is the only carrier providing non-stop service between Montreal and Fort Myers. New routes from Halifax to Orlando and Tampa will also begin this winter.

West Palm Beach

  • Toronto-Pearson: daily flights beginning Nov. 14.

Fort Lauderdale

  • Toronto-Pearson: two daily flights (operates year-round).
  • Ottawa: two daily flights starting October 27.
  • Montreal: daily flights from November 2.

Orlando

  • Toronto-Pearson: two daily flights (operates year-round).
  • Ottawa: two daily flights (year-round operation).
  • Montreal: daily flights from December 6.

Miami

  • Toronto-Pearson: daily flights starting November 8.

Fort Myers

  • Toronto-Pearson: daily flights from October 25.
  • Ottawa: three flights a week from November 28.
  • Montreal: four flights a week from November 29.

Tampa

  • Toronto-Pearson: two daily flights starting October 27.
  • Ottawa: four flights a week from November 22.
  • Halifax: three flights a week from December 5.
