KLM is expanding its transatlantic offering with the start of non-stop flights between Amsterdam and Portland, Oregon. This addition brings KLM’s network in the United States to fourteen cities, providing convenient connections to more than 160 destinations. The Dutch airline is replacing the operation of Delta Air Lines, its Joint Venture partner.
Flight KL 615 was operated on a Boeing 787-10 registered as PH-BKA and named “Orange Blossom,” which took off from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol at 11:00 local time on October 27 and landed at Portland International Airport at 12:47, after nine hours and 47 minutes.
KLM is the fourth airline to connect Portland to Europe, complementing services from British Airways from London-Heathrow, Icelandair from Reykjavik and Condor from Frankfurt.

- Flight KL 615: AMS 10:25 – PDX 12:25 Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.

Flights are operated on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, which have a capacity of 275 seats in three classes: 30 Business Class, 21 Premium Economy, 48 Economy Plus, and 176 Economy.
KLM’s U.S. network also serves Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Washington-Dulles, Houston-Intercontinental, New York-JFK, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Chicago O’Hare, San Francisco, and Salt Lake City.
