Caribbean Airlines is resuming a connection between Jamaica and Florida with the reinstatement of the Kingston-Fort Lauderdale route, which has a schedule of three weekly flights (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday). The airline will be offering a 50% discount on tickets for a limited period.
The service to Fort Lauderdale will begin on December 15, 2024, and will be Caribbean Airlines‘ third North American service from Jamaica, complementing the connections to New York-JFK and Toronto-Pearson. The reactivation of this route meets the needs and demand of tourists looking to travel through the Caribbean island countries to the US market.
The airline is increasing its capacity in South Florida and is boosting regional connectivity with the resumption of this service. This link will be important for the Jamaican diaspora, both in the Caribbean and in other nations.
“The return of service between Kingston and Fort Lauderdale is a direct response to the needs of our customers. At Caribbean Airlines, we are committed to connecting the Caribbean region more effectively, where resources allow, to ensure our passengers have greater access to key destinations that are important to them,” said Garvin Medera, CEO of Caribbean Airlines.
