The board of directors of Boeing has elected the former CEO of Vanguard Group, Tim Buckley, as its new member, effective January 1, the American aircraft manufacturer announced.
Buckley, 55, will be the tenth director at Boeing since 2019, the company said, adding that he will serve on the board’s Finance and Governance & Public Policy committees.
Before becoming CEO of Vanguard, Buckley held multiple roles during his over three-decade career at the leading U.S. asset management firm, including Chief Investment Officer and Chief Information Officer.
