The new terminal at Jorge Chávez International Airport (LIM) in Lima will feature a rest area for connecting passengers. The lounge will include sofas and beds for customer relaxation between flights, managed by sleep’n fly.

The new terminal building is expected to open on January 29, 2025, just over a month later than the original date of December 18, 2024. Additionally, sleep’n fly plans to inaugurate two additional spaces by 2026.

Sleep ‘n fly at LIM will be the company’s first location outside the Middle East and the only facility of its kind in the country. It will provide travelers with a convenient, private, and stress-free environment to relax, sleep, refresh, and recharge, whether for a short break or an extended stay.

Giorgio Benza, vice president of sleep’n fly for Latin America, stated, “We are excited to be part of this transformative chapter for Lima Airport. With the opening of the first sleep ‘n fly location outside the Middle East and the largest lounge of The Club LIM, we are taking the travel experience in Lima to new heights, offering exceptional environments for travelers to rest and recharge.”

The space allocated to sleep’n fly at Lima Airport will be located on the arrivals level of the new terminal and will be open 24/7, every day of the week.

The service accommodates short layovers of just a few hours as well as overnight stays at the airport. Sleep’n fly offers a private space with various options for solo travelers, business passengers, and entire families.

New features include FlexiSuites, equipped with zero-gravity reclining seats to enhance comfort and blood circulation, and 13 redesigned Nap Pods, an individual space that can be used as a rest chair or bed.

The design of The Club LIM is inspired by Peru’s rich cultural heritage, incorporating traditional and contemporary artwork by seven local artists, handmade textiles, vegetation, and ceramics highlighting the country’s artistic history. Local chef Ignacio Barrios Jacobs has created a menu that blends regional ingredients with Peruvian culinary tradition.

The lounge, which will cover 19,763 square feet, will accommodate up to 454 guests and offer a variety of zones tailored to the needs of modern travelers, from dining and relaxation areas to a workspace with private meeting rooms, a children’s play area, and a bar.
