Avianca began operations on its new route connecting Cartagena (Colombia) with Guayaquil (Ecuador), offering two weekly frequencies. The airline will operate the flights with Airbus A320 aircraft, with a capacity of 180 passengers, representing a total of 720 available seats per week.
According to the company, this operation is part of the 26 new routes inaugurated in 2024, consolidating what the airline defines as “the largest network in its history”.
David Alemán, Avianca’s Sales Director for Colombia and South America, highlighted that “with this direct operation, our customers can now enjoy an offering of 10 direct destinations from the walled city and another 10 to fly nonstop from Guayaquil.”
