Currently Turkish Airlines has two daily frequencies between Istanbul and New York (JFK). These flights are operated on Turkish’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and Boeing 777-300(ER), configured with 300 and 349 seats respectively.
Turkish is the only airline that operates between Istanbul and New York. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, Turkish had almost three daily flights between the two cities.
As the world’s situation start to normalize, the airlines begin to schedule new flights and resume others, such as Turkish Airlines, which from May 21st plans to fly between Istanbul and Newark (EWR) with the Airbus A330-300s, with capacity for 289 passengers.
Taking into account both international airports from New York City (EWR and JFK), Turkish has scheduled 92 flights per month to and from Istanbul since June.
