Virgin Atlantic announced the increase of its operations to the Caribbean by 300% with roundtrip rates starting at 315 euros.
This increase in flights to the Caribbean islands is due to the increase in demand, purchase of tickets and reservations, after the English government has given the green light to Antigua, Barbados and Granada, so that customers do not have to isolate themselves once they arrive to the UK from these destinations.
Although the restart of operations to these three islands was scheduled for August, at which time the company will receive its new Airbus A350, the newest aircraft in its fleet and which will be used to fly to Barbados, the itinerary was advanced one month and flights will begin to resume during July.
Below is the detailed itinerary:

“There has long been a pent-up demand to travel, so we are excited to finally be able to take our customers on a much-needed sunny break, with even more flight options available, allowing them to enjoy the stunning beaches, the warm weather and the warm hospitality that the Caribbean offers,» said Juha Jarvinen, Virgin Atlantic’s Chief Commercial Officer.
In addition, the European airline will return to its northern hub in Manchester starting on August 7 and will also operate between that city and Barbados 3 times a week with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
