Emirates continues to increase the number of operations and expanding services throughout its network. In order to meet the high demand for travel during the summer in the northern hemisphere, it has put thirty Airbus A380s into service again. This occurs as entry restrictions to different destinations around the world are eased.

Currently, Emirates flies to 115 cities and it is expected that by the end of July it will have recovered around 90% of its pre-pandemic network, operating 880 weekly services in 124 cities.

In addition to adding routes and frequencies with the Boeing 777s, the company will expand its network of destinations served by its largest aircraft, the A380. As reported by Aeroin, a site associated with Aviacionline, it will fly to 15 cities in 129 weekly services with these aircraft.

Emirates announced that it plans to activate more than 30 of its A380s that were in storage to complement its fleet of 151 Boeing 777s. The company is the largest operator of the gigantic Airbus model, with 118 units in its possession and 4 remaining orders to be delivered.

Emirates will use the A380 to Cairo, Jeddah, Amman, Guangzhou, London Heathrow, Manchester, Frankfurt, Vienna, Paris, Munich, Moscow, New York, Los Angeles, Washington D.C. and Toronto.
