    As part of a charter flight to transport the Argentine National Soccer Team, Aerolineas Argentinas will carry out a special operation between Buenos Aires and Caracas this Saturday, August 28. This flight will be carried out in a Boeing 737-700, and will mark the return of the company to the Venezuelan capital after 4 months.

    Aerolineas Argentinas’ last visit to Venezuela had also been for a soccer charter (Copa Sudamericana) in April.

    In addition to the special flight from Buenos Aires with the Boeing 737, an Airbus A330-200 of the same airline will arrive in Caracas on Monday 30 in the morning, taking to Venezuela the Argentine players who have been called up and are currently in the European continent.

    All these charter flights will be for the Qatar 2022 qualifying matches of the Argentine National Soccer Team in Venezuela and Brazil.

    Aerolineas Argentinas and Venezuela (History)

    In 2017, due to the situation in Venezuela, Aerolineas Argentinas carried out its last operations between Buenos Aires and Caracas. The Venezuelan capital was one of the main Latin American destinations of the airline, coming to operate flights with Airbus A340 and Boeing 747-200/400.

    At the moment Aerolíneas Argentinas does not plan to resume operations to Venezuela.
