As a consequence of the increase of Argentine tourists to and from the United States due to COVID-19 vaccines, American Airlines modified its capacity on Miami – Buenos Aires route. The airline will fly to Ministro Pistarini International Airport with Boeing 777-300(ER)s. These flights will last until at least August, according to Cirium’s platform, when the Boeing 777-200(ER)s would return.
American Airlines will offer a total of 2,128 weekly seats between Miami and Buenos Aires and vice versa, an increase of 11.35% compared to May’s schedule.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, the airline had 14 weekly flights to Buenos Aires with the Boeing 777s. From September, American plans to operate 2 daily frequencies, according to Cirium, although there may be modifications.
