Azul’s Airbus A320neo with Mickey Mouse livery is almost ready

The Airbus A320neo with Walt Disney World livery and Mickey Mouse painting belonging to Azul Linhas Aéreas is ready to fly.

Images are already circulating of the aircraft in Toulouse with the paint finished and the engines installed, bearing the serial number 10582 and the provisional French registration F-WWOT, which will soon become PR-YSH.

The fuselage is painted in the colors worn on his pants by the world’s most famous mouse and has a smile on its nose, resembling Mickey’s mouth and nose with the tip of the black painted bow.

Azul showed a render of the livery a while ago, and the actual aircraft is not different from that first picture:

This will be the first aircraft of the airline to feature a Walt Disney livery and also commemorates the 50th anniversary of the creation of the company’s first park. The celebrations, which will begin on October 1 and are expected to last 18 months.

Prior to this design, Disney has used two LATAM airframes for promotion: A Boeing 767-300ER with a Walt Disney World tail art and a Boeing 777 with a Stormtrooper livery.

According to data provided by our Brazilian partner site Aeroin, Azul has been flying regularly to Orlando and that operation is expected to be resumed in the coming months after the long-awaited reopening of borders.
