This Thursday 23rd, the first regular flight of Flybondi’s new Boeing 737-800 took off from Aeroparque Jorge Newbery in Buenos Aires. The aircraft had been parked at Ezeiza since September 14th, when it arrived from Lake Charles.
It is registered as LV-KAY, and is 15.2 years old. The Boeing 737 had been owned by Air India Express and Air Transat, with registration VT-AXG and C-GTQG respectively. As a result of COVID-19, it had been grounded in the desert since March 2020.

The introduction to service of the LV-KAY comes in conjunction with the entry into maintenance (apparently) of the LV-HFR, one of the first Boeing 737-800s incorporated by Flybondi. This aircraft is at Ezeiza Airport, and according to the current schedule, it will resume operations on September 28th.

In October Flybondi plans to resume regular operations from Córdoba to Iguazú, Neuquén and Salta.
