Ethiopian Airlines to resume flights to Buenos Aires

Last June the 7th, Ethiopian Airlines made its last scheduled operations to Buenos Aires due to COVID-19 restrictions in Argentina, causing changes in its flight schedule. The Ethiopian carrier had a weekly frequency from Addis Ababa and Sao Paulo, on Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft.

Ethiopian Airlines’ operations, in addition to being limited, were not authorized to take passengers from Sao Paulo to Buenos Aires and vice versa, further reducing their occupancies.

Effective December 13th, Ethiopian Airlines will resume operations to the Argentine capital. Flights will be operated by Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, configured with 270 seats, as they were until last June.

The airline will have three weekly operations between Addis Ababa, Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires. With this schedule, Ethiopian will offer 810 seats per week on each leg.

The company operates three weekly flights between Addis Ababa and Sao Paulo with the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. Ethiopian has not suspended operations to the Brazilian city.
